This beautiful century stone farmhouse was one of my favorite projects. With many guests in the summertime and grown family coming and going, they required more guest quarters, an updated kitchen, a large great room, and an outdoor pool, patio, and cabanas. I was involved with the design and full renovation.
I used the original stone of the house as well as the natural woods and beautiful rural vistas as my jumping off point. Working with the colours of nature, I played with soft creams, natural wood tones and stone highlighted with yellows, ochre and greens, using pattern to add novelty.
Fresh and inviting in the summer, but warm and welcoming during the many cold winter months.
